Damien_Thai_MaxOn October 19, 2013 it will be held in Meyreuil, France an important Muay Thai full rules tournament.

The 8 fighters of the torunament (64kg):

  • -Damien Alamos (France), freat and strong French fighter who lives and trains in Thailand, and is also the Lumpinee 140lbs champion
  • -Sergio Wielzen (NL), who defeated by High Kick KO Anuwat Kaewsamirt (video)
  • -Tim Thomas (UK), he fought against Malaipet Sasiprapa (draw), Robin van Roosmalen (lost) and Abraham Roqueñi(lost).
  • -Petchbonchuu Fa Group (Thailand), video match at Lumpinee against Diesellek Uddonmuang
  • – Crice Boussoukou(France), the young Italian-French nak muay who fought in the reality show Kard Chuek (News) and replaced Dylan Salvador (France), who recently fought in Max MuayThai Japan (News) and got hurt, giving forfeit to his next fight.
  • – Houcine Bennoui (France), who already fought and won against Damien Alamos in 2009 (Video) and fought also Saenchai (Video) losing at points.
  • -Kaoponlek (Thailand), Fighter of the year 1995, Lumpinee Champion 2000, Rajadamnern Champion, Thailand Champion, Kaoponlek trains and lives in Italy from many years.
  • -Mickael Peynaud (France), in this video he fought against Karim Bennoui (Houcine’s brother) Video.

The Italian fighter Alessio d’Angelo (who recently won the International WMC title in Hong Kong promoted by Muay Farang).

Being 9 the fighters in the tournament, we suppose that the final card is still not completed and finalized.

There are some rumors saying that in the entire tournament it’s allowed to use elbows (with protection) while other rumors says that only in the quarters and semifinal it will be allowed, while in the final it wont.

Muay Farang redaction presumes that the use of elbows will be allowed only in the final.

An important fact is that the tournament will be held all in one night, and the winner of the tournament will bring home a WMC belt.

There will be also many other fights in the night, in wich will fight: Ayiub el Kaidar, Sebastien Carbone, Teistan Benard, Nicolas Parlanti, Yassine Ben Haddu, Arslanbek Askerov, Benjamin Angelier, Tarek Guermoudi e Cedric Colombo.

The event will be broadcasted on the French TV Channel Kombat Sport and the organization is expecting more then 2.500 spectators.
