Guide: How to watch live Muay Thai on Thai TV for Free

Read disclaimer

One of the biggest limits for those who are non-Thai residents, is the impossibility to watch live Muay Thai events broadcasted on Thai TVs, as they have to wait for someone to upload the fights video on YouTube or other socials.

Even though, most TVs around the world offer streaming service, to allow you to easily watch TV on your PC or Smartphone, these services (apps, websites) are region locked, therefore, these can be only used in the country or origin of the specific TV.

Furthermore, there is a method that lets you watch fights in live streaming, by using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), a service that lets you connect to a server located in any country of the world (like Thailand, for example) using its IP address and so allowing you to watch TV streaming of another country.

There are many commercial VPN services, that allow you use an IP of another country by paying a monthly fee; for example: HideMyAss, ExpressVPN, IPVanish, VyprVPN and many others.

There’s also a free service (Open source), that let’s you connect to other worldwide servers and unlock the regional block: SoftEther VPN.

Once installed and opened the program, you’ll need to double click the second element of the list: “VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers”:

A new windows will open, featuring free and open worldwide servers; select and double click on a server located in Thailand (we suggest one with less “VPN Sessions” and more “Line Speed“):

The program will set up the connection, and “voilà”, you’ll be able to watch fights live broadcasted on another country’s national TV (Muay Thai weekly program and links Thai TVs streaming).
