Mathias Gallo Cassarino WPMF 135lbs World Champion
The event that hosted the championship on July 26, 2013 was WPMF “61st Birth Anniversary of HRH The Crown Prince of Thailand” at “The Royal Turf Club of Thailand”.
At the event, the Champion Singmanee Kaewsamrit defended his WPMF 147lbs (67Kg) belt, against the young emergent Brazilian Adaylton Freitas (Muay Thai Plaza Gym).
The Thai had no problem dominating the fight, winning this unbalanced (in our opinion) fight. In the night event, streamed on the pay-per-view channel 116 (Thai TV), the main event was for the vacant ‘lightweight’ title, contended by the famous Juan Mario Kaewsamrit(Wan Mario for Thai people) and Mathias Sitsongpeenong.
Juan Mario is a spanish fighter who lives and fights in Thailand for more than 10 years. After 2005 he became popular in Lumpinee and Raja, entering in the top 10 fighters. In Kaewsamrit Gym, Juan Mario trains with big champions such as Anuwat Kaewsamrit and Singmanee.
Against the predictions that were giving Juan Mario as winner, Mathias won every round and made the audience of Bangkok, that came to celebrate the birthday of High Majesty Prince of Thailand, go crazy.
Judges scores: 50-46, 50-47 e 50-48.
