Original Article from 3 August 2016:
A great Muay Thai event held in honor of the champion Chanai Pongsupha, Master Thakoon’s father, will take place on 21st September 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand. We want to remind you that Master Thakoon is Rungravee Sasiprapa’s coach and manager, who faced twice Mathias Gallo Cassarino, once in Thailand (draw – Video) and once in Spain (victory – Video) and soon will fight again, but not this time; the Managers couldn’t find an economic agreement for the fight, even though there’s big friendship between the two.
The Spanish champion Carlos Coello Canales will represent 7 Muay Thai Gym facing the Thai Army Sasiprapa, an opponent who usually competes in the -62kg category, while this time will have to get down to -57kg.
We want to remind you that Carlos’s great skills on the rings, made him be the protagonist of a Muay Thai documentary, directed by the Spanish TV Movistar for the “Informe Robinson” program (Video).
Rungravee will face the strong South African Ncedo Gomba, who lives in Thailand and usually competes in the 54-57kg category and has also defeated the French Leo Pinto at Thai Fight (Video).
Also in the card the strong Canadian fighter Sean Kearney who’ll face the Thai Pakao DabPong191.
