Stephen Meleady oponed by Cambodians elbows/scalpels

cutThe Irish Stephen Meleady, who lives at Jitty Gym in Bangkok is a well known “Farang” fighter in Thailand since he faced many Muay Thai Champions as Rungrawee Sasiprapa, Seeoui, Sam-A KaiyanghaDaoGym (Video), Saeksan Or Kwanmuang (Video) ecc.

Yesterday (November 28, 2013) he fought in Cambodia against  the Cambodian Leang Sipich losing by TKO (Medical stoppage).

Elbows are an uncertainty in Muay Thai and as you can see can leave some little “souvenirs” on the face. A year ago was it proposed a challange between Stephen Meleady and Mathias Gallo Cassarino, but eventually the fight was cancelled because Mathias injured his foot. Both were in Toyota tournament but none of them passed the turn so they couldn’t face. Today, a challaenge between them would be interesting. Today, unlike a year ago today, gamblers point Mathias as winner, but is known that the ring decides the winner.
