Video: Kaew Fairtex vs Kimura “Philip” Minoru – K-1 in Japan – 65kg – 18/01/15

Kimura “Philip” Minoru is the name of a young Brazilian fighter who defeated on pts the strong Thai Kaew Fairtex.

We got impressed with Philip’s boxing skills against the veteran Kaew (looked like a sparring session). Kaew is also southpaw and has very dangerous left middlekicks.

During the 3rd round, Philip, with his really fast boxing, hit Keaw with a precise left hook Keaw, who eventually got counted and that made him lose the fight.

Even though Kaew got up quickly and gave it all, he couldn’t convince enough the Japanese referees.

We think the fight was really close and so the victory to this young talent “Philip” wasn’t shocking, as he put on a great show in his home.
