Welterweight Lumpini belt becomes a ‘farang’ job
Boxing Day at Lumpini Stadium will be highlighted by a title bout that just few years ago would have been unthinkable:2 foreigners battling each others for the prestigious stadium belt in the welterweight class.
The next dec 26th then, defending champion Rafi Bohic Sitnumnoi(the third French Muay Thai fighter awarded a title belt in Lumpinee, before him Damien Almos in 2012 and Morad Sari in 1999) will get in collision with the rising australian Chadd ‘Shark’ Collins Tor. Saengtiennoi(that we mostly remember for his fantastic performance vs. Saenchai). 
In last analysis we would like to point the fact, that despite the undoubted value of both fighters and the power of their respective gyms/managers, a farang vs farang title match is indicative of the times muay thai is living nowadays.
