The latest Yokkao event is going down this Saturday (October 8th 2016) at Macron Stadium in Bolton (England) under SuperShowDown promotion. Yokkao events, as we have seen previously in other occasions, are sometimes structured as a double events, in fact, Yokkao 19 and 20 will both occur on this night, as well as an under-card of Yokkao Next Generation fights, where up and coming fighter will fight for a chance to get a place in a future main card.

The highlight of this event will be a super fight between two superstars of the Muay Thai world: England’s Liam Harrison and Frenchman Fabio Pinca. This is a fight that, just like Pinca‘s last fight against Andrei Kulebin, every single Muay Thai fan in the world has been waiting for. Even though, we have seen Pinca fight up to 70kg and Harrison as low as 63.5 – 65 in the past, the fight is set at 66.5 kg weight limit.
Curiosity: everyone was hoping to see this fight since the first edition of the now famed Thai Fight back in 2010, which was won by Fabio Pinca; as some can recall, Liam Harrison won his quarter-final bout but was disqualified form the semi-finals due to weight issues. If Harrison would have went on in the competition we would have probably see this two in the final.

Another big fight will be the one between two of England’s best 70 kg: Jordan Watson
and Ben Hodge. Watson is well-known accomplished fighter who has fought with the best, Hodge is an up and coming name who just had his world-wide break by beating Thai superstar Sayok Pu

Another fight to keep your eyes is the challenge between strong up and coming Thai fighter Manachai YokkaoSaenchaiGym and tough English fighter Panicos Yusuf, the two will fight at 63 kg.

Also to point out, a fight between two young talented female fighters: Amy Pirinie (20 years old) from Scotland and Dakota Ditcheva (17 yo) from England.
