Curiosità:
Samart cominciò quella che diventò la sua professione nel 1972 con suo fratello Manus Thipthamai (aka Pi Toui).
Il suo primo match si disputò in un tempio nella provincia di Chachoengsao contro Pet-aroon Sitnimit, dove Samart vinse ai punti.
Dopo il primo match si spostò a Pattaya con un’altro suo fratello “Sompong”.
Dal 1975 i due fratelli si allenarono nello storico Camp Sityodthong dell’A-jan Yodthong Senanant.
Inoltre è stato un ottimo pugile ed è arrivato a vincere la prestigiosa cintura World WBC super bantamweight nel 1986.
Samart non è solo un Nak Muay e pugile ma bensì anche cantante e attore, infatti nel mentre della sua carriera Samart ha pubblicato 3 album musicali sotto etichetta discografica (musica Pop – Country) e ha partecipato in 9 film.
