In the 72 Kg Tournament Kanongsuk (Gold medalist at IFMA 2014) defeated by KO R2 Kamel Mezatni, and the Russian Yuri defeated by TKO (cut) R3 the strong Iranian Mostafa Abdollahi. In the final Kanongsuk won by KO R2 against Yuri.

This was the 3rd time the two fighters faced each other (1 draw and 2 fights won by the Thai).
