Russia winner of Muay Thai at World Combat Games 2013 Saint Petersburg

The International martial arts event ” SportAccord World Combat Games ” that started on October 26, 2013 ended on October 26 had fighters from more then 20 countries and included also the Muay Thai discipline.

Russia winned the event, after obteined 3 bronze , 3 silver and 3 gold medals winned by MAGOMEDOV Zaynalabid (-71kg), VAKHITOV Artem (-91kg) and from the Champion Artem Levin in the -81kg category (Artem titles: WBC -79.379kg, WMC Intercontinental -76kg, winner of the reality show “The Contender Asia season 2 and Glory World Championship).

Thailand in second position with 3 bronze, 2 silver and 3 gold medals.

Italy wins just a bronze medal obteined by Emidio Barone in the category -91kg.
