There were many rumors lately about the fight between the Thai legend Buakaw Banchamek and the Chinese shaolin monk Yi Long, and today we received the official confirm and a date: 24th September 2016.
It has already passed more than a year from the last time they faced each other; in fact the two already fought on Wu Lin Feng‘s (World Championships 2015) ring in China (News – Video), where Buakaw won by points but didn’t totally convince the audience.
Yi is known to be a “shaolin monk“, but eventually he’s a Sanda fighter who reached high level notoriety after he faced few great Thai athletes, such as Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee and Kem Sitsongpeenong.
