If the last edition of BOS (link) did not carry enough hype, this one surely does. Firstly, because it will once again take place at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok, and also because the main attraction of the night will be Fabio Pinca, top fighter from France, fighting for the stadium belt against current champion Manaowan Sitsongpeenong at 174 pounds (circa 67 kg). Manaowan had previously won the title by defeating another french fighter, Azize Hlali, at BOS 8.
Even if Fabio vs Manaowan sounds like the main event of Best of Siam 10, it is not. The main event on paper will be the 135lbs WBC world title between number 2 ranked Panpayak Sitjatik and Phonaek Mor Puwana, both fighters from Thailand. The pair already fought back in August 2016, and Panpayak came out victorious.
Another good fight on the card will be the one between french WMPF world champion Jimmy Vienot against Denpanom Kilakorat from Thailand for the vacant 160lbs WBC world title. Vienot is fresh from a victory against Thai superstar Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee at Thai Boxe Mania 2017 (link) last month in Italy.
The over 230lbs WBC world title will be on the line as well, after Yassine Boughanem vacated it. Former champion Benz RSM from Thailand and number 3 ranked Steven Banks from USA, will battle for the belt.
Also in the card young prospect from Israel Itay Guyer, who will face Petchmahakarn Kilakorat from Thailand.
