Results: Carlos Coello vs Payakdam Sor.Panyokit – 16th August 2016

Carlos Coello led 5 great rounds and totally convinced one of the referees, who gave him a score of 49-47, but unfortunately the other 2 didn’t see it the same way and scored the opponent 48-47. So the young talented fighter Payakdam Sor.Panyokit, who fought in a smart way and showed great techniques, conquered the Muay Siam Pak Neua title.

We want to point out an error of the 7 Muay Thai fighter, who at the 4th round knocked down Payakdam with a precise chin hook and the referee momentarily stopped the fight to let the Thai fighter get up, but wasn’t counted (quite normal in Thailand). Carlos, turned towards his corner in confusion why the referee did not perform an 8 count instead try to get a definitive knock down. In our opinion, this error made him lose the belt.
