Curiosity: UFC Champion furious with Jean Claude Van Damme

Cody Garbrandt, former UFC Champion, fullfilled his ‘dream’ of meeting his childhood hero action movie star  Jean-Claude Van Damme for a light sparring session but things ended unexpectedly sour.
The ‘muscles for Bruxelles'(57 years old) connected with one of his trademark hook kicks the forehead of the young champion that, visibly shocked, walked off the ring.
The champion later accused in a public interview the movie star of ‘wanting to knock his teeth out’ adding he was ‘sweating everywhere’.
Looking at the video it seems that the young champion was mostly hurt in his pride for getting caught off guard by the veteran movie star, as the kick looked more than harmless.
At the end the whole thing looks to us more like an excellent marketing move more than a genuine episode but we leave the judgement to our readers.
