Western boxing: Kovalev comes back destroying Shabranskyy (highlights)
Sergey Kovalev is back. After losing two grudge matches with American Andre Ward (who retired a few months ago), the Russian “Krusher” returned on the ring last Saturday night in New Yourk City against Vyacheslav Shabranskyy from Ukraine, in a match valid for WBO World Light Heavyweight Title, a title retained by Kovalev in past. An easy job for “Krusher”, who dethroned Shabranskyy in only two rounds, knocking him down several times. Kovalev is now looking to unify the titles of the division, and a big match with other stars like Adonis Stevenson or Artur Beterbiev can happen. Watch HBO highlight below.
