Videos: Mathias Gallo Cassarino stopped in the Toyota Marathon semifinal – 26/08/2016
A year ago the Italian champion Mathias Gallo Cassarino fought in the Toyota Marathon -64kg and this year competed in the -65kg edition, even though he usually fights in -63kg category.
The Italian-Thai Mathias 7MuayThai brilliantly won the first fight against the Thai Kriangkrai Tor Silachai (former Omnoi Champion), where he dominated all 3 rounds and offered a great show to the audience. Unfortunately an hour later, the future tournament champion Yodtuanthong Petchyindee stopped Mathias at the 1st round striking a strong elbow that cut him on his forehead (9 stitches) and forced the doctor to stop the fight.
Then, Yodtuanthong defeated Manachai Yokkao Gym in the final, winning the prestigious Toyota Marathon -65kg title.
We want to remind you, that the tournament featured 4 Thais and 4 foreigners, of which 3 Thais and Mathias passed the first turn.
