Two Farang champions in WPMF ranking (light weight)

In recent years Muay Thai World has evolved, in fact looking at the important WPMF ranking, it shows that Thai fighters are no longer the undisputed champions like they were a few years ago. Even where Thai fighters should dominate especially in light weights, instead of them, two world titles are held by Europeans: the French Lumpinee champion Damien Alamos who holds the title in the Super Light Weight category – while the Champion Mathias Gallo Cassarino holds the Light Weight title.

Due to these facts, pure Muay Thai has become always more “Muay Farang”.
Muay Farang is also the brand that identifies the team led by Mathias Gallo Cassarino and the goal of this team and brand is to make history in Muay Thai in Thailand.
Mathias Sitsongpeenong said recently that he will fight to replicate the success of his colleague Damien Alamos and will point early in the ranking of Lumpinee!
We’ll see if an Italian will also reach this important milestone that already two French’s have achieved.
