Update: Video & Card: OneSongchai promotion – Sengmanee vs Tanonchai, Panpayak vs Superbank – 14 September 2016

Update:

Panpayak Jitmuangnon defeated Superbank Mor Rattanabundit by decision last night at Rajadamnern Stadium, we can say it was quite a disappointing fight, as both fighter didn’t seem to put 100% in it, the reason could be that they know each-other as they frequent the same University or also the fact that Superbank didn’t seem to be the fighter he normally is, maybe due to the lay off from Muay Thai, while he was competing in amateur Boxing, being this his second fight since his return.

The main event between Tanonchai Thanakorn Gym vs Sengmanee SengmaneeMuayThaihitex (normally known as Sor Tienpo) was an amazing battle, where we saw a very exiting attacking style by Sengmanee, who normally is more of a Fee Meu style fighter, the bout that ended up in a draw. The two faced each-other 9 times now, Tanonchai won 5x, Sengmanee won 2x and they draw twice, including this last fight.

Another great event is going down at Rajadamnern Stadium tomorrow (Wednesday 14th September), organized by OneSongchai Promotions.
The card features a couple very big fights, this two couples of yod muays (Top fighters) don’t need any introduction in the Thailand Muay Thai scene:

The co-main event will be between Superbank Mor.Rattanabundit and Panpayak Jitmuangnon, a fight which never happened before and it wasn’t even 100% confirmed it was going to happen this time, curiously, because they both have a scholarship at Rattanabundit University (as we can see Superbank even uses their name instead of the gym name). Superbank is also a decorated amateur Boxer, last year after winning a an amateur Western Boxing tournament in Thailand he had the chance to train with the Thai national team and was part of the so called “B team”, unfortunately, he was not selected for the A team Thailand which competed at passed Olympic Games in Brazil. That’s why we are seeing him on the top Muay Thai stages in Thailand, again.

The main event of the evening will be between Sengmanee Sor Tienpo and Tanonchai Tanakorn Gym, they will face each-other the 9th time! This fight is always one that Muay Thai fans love and and enjoy, and this time it won’t be different.
