Pattaya Boxing World Marathon – WMF Pro

DSC_5739For Gery Bavetta (aka gery Muay Farang) good luck is blind, but misfortune  sees very well  since he was combined to fight a Russian 20cmt taller than him.

Gery fought very well but he couln’t win the fight.

In the same day, after 6 days Melo Muay Farang returned on the ring motivated to do a better fight  than the last one at the WMF amateurs (WMF #Day1).
Melo faced the strong Thai Petmai Sor Suria who has over 70 fights (55 win). Melo also here fought very well and even if he lost on points he showed that he has a great future ahead (he’s only 15 y.o.); soon the video.

DSC_6049In the same event Muay Farang presented 3 fighters and 2 of them fought for the  WMF Pro Belt.
The first fight for the belt is a women 4 Man Tournament (60 kg) and Muay Farang deployed the strong Dutch fighter  Marloes Merza who trains at Muay Farang’s camp in Pai (North Thailand).
Marloes fights a great match, but she didn’t listen to her corner and wasted a already gained victory.

In the 63.5kg 4 Man torunament, the strong Ukrain Maxim Fedorkov made a great show and beated easily his Brazilian opponent.
Muay Farang deployed the French fighter Christophe Tartari who didn’t get into the fight and lost by KO R1.
At last Bogdan Moroz fought for Muay farang in the +81kg category  against a French opponent who was 10kg more than him.

DSC_6170Bogdan felt his opponent overweight and even if with great heart he continued the fight, on last round he got a liver knee and couldn’t continue the fight.
