Pornsanae officially retires!

A sad news that we were expecting from long time, but now is official: the Thai legend Pornsanae Sitmonchai retires from Muay Thai.

After more than 20 years of honorable service, at the age of 34, Pornsanae decided to put a brake on his notorious career as Nak Muay.

He recently fought his last fight at Omnoi Stadium (14/02/15) defeating by KO Phet G.L Suuit and confirmed so his Omnoi -130lbs title (Video).

We remember that Pornsanae, fought internationally in the best rings of the World and his native country, where he conquered some of the most important Thailand’s titles, such as:

  • Rajadamnern Stadium -115lbs Title
  • Thailand (PAT) -126lbs Title
  • Omnoi Stadium -130lbs Title
  • WMC -130lbs Title
  • Toyota Tournament -118lbs Title
  • Lumpinee favourite fighter of the year 2010 Award
  • Lumpinee fight of the year vs Pakorn 2010 Award (Video)

Pornsanae’s success history commenced when he was only 13. He went to Sitmonchai Gym in Bangkok and thus obtaining the name of the Gym.

The beginning of the millenium was his golden age, in that period he conquered most of his Thai and international fame, beside most of his titles.

We also want to remember that last year Muay Farang Team Captain Mathias Gallo Cassarino, should have faced Pornsanae, but eventually the fight didn’t happen due to the two fighter’s managers not being able to reach an agreement.

Here some of his legendary fights:
