Update: Rungravee Sasiprapa goes to Las Vegas – Lion Fight 16

The Italian co-winner of the Reality Show World Muay Thai Angels Sindy Huyer (promoted in that event by Muay Farang – News), will face the American Tiffany Van Soest in the co-main event of Lion Fight 16.

Update 10/05/2014:

The Austrlian fighter Michael “Tomahawk” Thompson will not face Rungravee Sasiprapa but the American fighter Kevin Ross for the Lion Fight Super Lightweight Title. 

Rungravee’s opponent will be announced in the next days/weeks.

Rungravee Banchamek or better known as Rungravee Sasiprapa (Buakaw Banchamek relative) is one of the Top 20 Thai fighters who are respected overseas. He fought in many countries with great success thanks also to his efficiency and aggressive style that often makes him win by KO.

He faced many Farang fighters and rarely lost apart for fights against Amine Kacem (in France) , Yetkin Ozkul ( in France), Dean James (in UK where he lost by injury) .

But it is right to point out that only one Farang dared to challenge him in his home (Surin, Thailand – city were he was born). We are talking about Mathias Gallo Cassarino who today (May 2014) is the only farang who didn’t lose against Rungravee in Thailand; the fight ended with a draw assigned by Thai referees (Video).

Rungravee’s next fight is rumored to be against the Australian fighter Michael “Tomahawk” Thompson at the event “Lion Fight 16” (News & card of Lion Fight 15) which will be held on 4th July in Las Vegas, US.
