Petchjeeja loses in Japan

The young phenom and pride of Thailand Petchjeeja Or. Meekhun- possibly the most talented and technical female fighter muay thai fighter ever produced- was protagonist last nov 23rd in Japan.

Petchjeeja, a champion that appears not having any girl able to match her up in muay thai at her weight category, tried to follow the footprints of Buakaw and become a star in Shootboxing(discipline that allows judo like throws and standing submissions), clashing with champion from Japan Mio Tsumura at -48 kg as co-main event of the show Shootboxing Ground Zero.
Unfortunately, it appears that atm Shootboxing is still off limits to any major performance from thai girls-Zaza tried already without any luck few years ago- and Petchjeeja has to bow to the japanese specialist that convincingly manages the match earning an unanimous decision 30/27,29/28,29/28.
