Muay Farang invites people to appreciate the real Thailand, starting from its elephants
Muay Farang it’s in favour of the real things, starting from Muay Thai and its “real” side has the finality of fighting on the Thai “rings“, the only ones that still feature a genuine Muay Thai that is still judged as Thais traditionally do.
Muay Thai, is a lifestyle choice for Thais born in the North-East (Isaan), and business for those who promote it or bet on it, such as in Bangkok’s big stadiums and in every corner of the “real” Thailand.
Surely Thailand’s touristic big cities of Phuket, Samui, Pattaya and Bangkok have always the least to do with the “real” Thailand; in this case we look at this concept through the eyes of the Thai animal for excellence, the one most respected and loved than the other ones: the elephant, a sacred animal, in theory, that unfortunately is brutally used for tourism.
To understand more of what we talking about just Google: Phajaan (ผ่าจ้าน).
It’s an ancient cruel practice, that still continues today, made to subjugate the elephant for tourism.
Muay Farang invites the “real” Muay Thai lovers to love the “real” Thailand and so to help elephant in their natural habitat and not to ride them!
Certainly you’d love to try it, because it’s something typical Thai, therefore if you inform yourself about the cruelty of phajaan we are certain that you will have no doubt on it!
Practice Muay Thai in its most real form and visit Thailand wherever there is no mass tourism and maybe leave alone the poor elephants!
We suggest you to watch this video that will help you to love and respect them:
