Video: Gabriele Casella defeats by KO Ekapop Sor Klinmee – Amazing Thaialnd Fighting Spirit – Rome – 30 April 2016

One of the most important pure Muay Thai events of Italy, the “Amazing Thailand Fighting Spirit 5“, organized by Team Colonnese, took place on Saturday 30th April 2016 at the Pala Atlantico in Rome, Italy. The event featured a nice card  with many great Thai and Italian fighters such as Ekapop and Sinsamut Sor Klinmee (Sudsakorn’s brother), Gabriele Casella, Shan Cangelosi and Martin Meoni.
Great performance by the young Italian Gabriele Casella who knocked out at the first round with a fantastic high kick the the Thai veteran Ekapop Sor Klinmee.
We want to remind you that recently Casella has won the WAKO world title (-86kg) and on August 2015 defeated the well known Thai champion Peemai Jitmuangnon at the Spanish event “The Circle“. Soon Gabriele will face the French Cédric Toush for the WAKO PRO -81kg title at Monte-Carlo Fighting Masters 3 (News soon!).

The event also featured 2 Muay Thai tournaments (-65kg and -73kg) won by Shan Cangelosi and Anouar Khamlali respectively.

-65kg Tournament:

• Semifinal 1: Shan Cangelosi won by KO vs Gianmarco Giosi
• Semifinal 2: Sisay Kebrome won by pts vs Naqquash Khan
• Finale: Shan Cangelosi won by pts  vs Sisay Kebrome
