Video: Mathias Gallo Cassarino vs Rungravee Sasiprapa – The Circle – Barcelona

Rivalry and admiration between Mathias Gallo Cassarino and Rungravee Sasiprapa is an old thing. In fact, when he was just a boy, Mathias used to admire him on Channel 7, his aggressiveness was scary. He saw him win at least two CH7 stadium titles.

The first time, Mathias fought Rungravee (Buakaws cousine) in a Banchamek Promotions event at their home town, Surin.
The result of the fight (Video) was a Draw, which in Thailand and in the opponents home town means alot for Mathias. Everyone talks about this fight which was announced on the Muay Siam front cover and than in France, where Mathias still wasn’t very known, on the prestigious “Budo” Magazine.

The Thais didn’t want the re-match between a young Farang which destroys with his low kicks all Farangs who are put in front of him, and at home where Rungravee never lost to a foreigner.
The occasion comes with the new event “The Circle”, in which Team Italy is called to defend their home country against Team Thailand, from where. Mathias this time was promoted by Fight1, flys from Thailand to Spain, together with the components of the Thai team, to join the rest of the Italian team and compete against the strong Thais.

Friends outside the ring but fierce on the ring until the last second.

Last 12 Dec 2015, Mathias achieved another dream: beating that “machine”, dangerous Thai champion who he used to watch on TV as a kid, and he did it on the ring of The Circle in Barcelona.
